There's a lot of chicanery in the biz opp world.
Some of it's obvious.
But, some of it's not-so-obvious.
The obvious ones I never worry about. It's the not-so-obvious ones that can fleece you of your money and credibility. And, in some cases, put you in some serious trouble, too.
Take for example, a shyster business "guru" from the 1990's.
I won't name his name or anything.
(He's no longer in our industry anyway).
But he was a MASTER of selling and persuasion.
He could charm the birds out of the trees.
And he would mesmerize people with great storytelling that'd have them buying into his business opportunity without a second thought,
credit card held in their hot little hands.
credit card held in their hot little hands.
Only problem was, he was a fake.
In fact, he was a felon. And this "emperor" truly had no clothes! As a result, all those people who spent money on his program ended up eating all that lost money and probably still haven't gained the trust of all the friends, family and co-workers they tried selling the guru's system to.
Today this is even MORE widespread.
You have bona fide sociopaths attracted to this industry.
Sociopaths are people who don't have a conscience. The idea of caring about someone is as foreign to them as the color red would
be to someone who is born blind -- making lying, cheating and (in extreme cases) killing as routine and easy a decision as you or me ordering a burger at McDonalds.
be to someone who is born blind -- making lying, cheating and (in extreme cases) killing as routine and easy a decision as you or me ordering a burger at McDonalds.
No remorse.
No guilt.
And no shame.
Unfortunately, they LOVE industries like this, too.
So be careful who you get into business with.
I'm not saying there's a con behind every bush, and thankfully there ARE some great people in this industry who DO care.
But there's a lot of the bad guys, too.
